[2009/06/24] Our paper entitled ``A Decompression Pipeline for Accelerating Out-of-Core Volume Rendering of Time-Varying Data'' has been selected as one of 24 graphics selections in ANNUAL REPORT OF OSAKA UNIVERSITY, Academic Achievement 2008-2009. The paper is published in Computers and Graphics.
[2009/01/24] Shimadzu, one of our collaborative company, will introduce a non-destructive testing machine accelerated with our real-time reconstruction engine using the graphics processing unit.

[2008/03/01] Shimadzu, one of our collaborative company, will introduce a cone-beam computed tomography accelerated with our real-time reconstruction engine using the graphics processing unit. Our engine achieves intra-operative imaging with reducing reconstruction time from four minutes to eight seconds.

[2007/06/16] Japan's Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) has selected a Global Centers of Excellence (COE) Program on `` A center of excellence for an in silico medicine-oriented worldwide open platform.'' Professor Kenichi Hagihara participates in the program as a Program Co-leader.
